BACKGROUND

The Centre was opened in December 2000 and was the Millennium Project of Kemnay Church.

The main building was a former United Free Church. This building was completely renovated and a new extension added giving additional accommodation and a coffee bar, run by volunteers, known as the Loaves & Fishes.

To ensure that the Centre is run professionally it is controlled by a Management Group which aims to ensure that the Centre is self supporting. Contributions from the use of the Centre are used to maintain and improve the facilities.

The excellent facility is primarily used by the the Congregation for its programmes of outreach, education, children and youth work, for care and worship. However the Congregation wishes the facilities to be made available to the wider community and to other Congregations.

We can cater for morning coffee/lunch and afternoon tea as well as funeral teas and small weddings or wedding anniversaries. For more information click here

AUDIO/VISUAL

Televisions  with DVD and Video recorders/ overhead projectors/ PA system / flip charts and white boards are all available

CONFERENCES

We have catered for conferences of over 100 people making the use of the whole Centre.

PARTIES

Children’s birthday parties and private family parties are regularly held at the Centre.

MEETING ROOM                                                                                                                   A comfortable downstairs lounge with French windows opening out to the grounds.  It can seat up to 18 people.

 

MILLENIUM HALL                                                                                                             Accommodates about 60/80 people. There is direct access to kitchen facilities.

 

FELLOWSHIP HALL                                                                                                          The larger of the two halls can seat up to 170 people. There is direct access to kitchen facilities. There is an audio system with loop induction.                                                           

 

DONALDSON ROOM                                                                                                           A smaller meeting room with audio/ visual facilities.

 

QUIET ROOM                                                                                                                         Will seat up to 15 people and also can be used as a private meeting room.

WALKS AROUND KEMNAY                                                                                                If you are visiting the Church Center for a conference or away-day you may be interested in a booklet with short walks around Kemnay produced by one of our members.
