NEW MEMBERS COURSES
Both Alpha and The Way course are designed to prepare those wishing to become members of the Church. Following both courses the minister has a session of what it means to be a member of the Church. If you are interested in joining one of these courses please contact us.
ALPHA COURSE
We have been running Alpha Courses for many years. It is a basic Christian education course that is used by many different denominations and in many countries. Usually there is a course offered in the autumn. Please look at Church News page for dates of the next course or contact us.
YOUTH ALPHA
The Youth Alpha is specially designed for young people and is offered from time to time. Please look at Church News page for dates of the next course or contact us.
THE WAY COURSE
This is a shorter introduction to the Christian Faith running for six weeks and encourages participants to experiment with the faith.
SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB
Each summer we offer a holiday Club for Primary Age children which is a good way for children to be introduced to the life and work of the church.
SUMMER MISSION
Over the years we have worked in partnership with Youth For Christ and the Church of Scotland Summer Missions teams as a way of reaching our young people. Please look at Church News page for dates of the next course or contact us.
PARISH VISITATION
Our Parish visits are in partnership with St Anne’s Scottish Episcopal congregation.
Over the years we have visited the Parish over a four year period. The most recent was completed in 2005 when we offered copies of The Jesus Video free to those who wished to take one.
HAVE ANOTHER LOOK EVENINGS
From time to time we host with St Anne’s Church evening to help members and friends look at questions about the faith. Over the years we have held Have Another Look at ‘Christmas’ ‘Easter’ ‘What happens after Death.’ Please look at Church News page for dates of the next Have another Look Evening or on the Events page.
