Tues 7 Marriage Week. Pray for people you know whose marriages are under pressure at an individual level. Also for the institution of marriage, under pressure at Scottish and U.K. national levels.
Wed 8 “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians. 5:16-18
Thur 9 Remember Jen Wright as she continues to work on Bible translation and usage in Cameroon. Pray that the local churches may cooperate in the Scripture Use programme she is promoting.

Mon 13 Give thanks for our contacts with our Partner Church in Minyara, Lebanon. May they have the resources to realise their vision for their new Church Centre.
Tues 14 St Valentine’s Day. Give thanks for true and faithful love amongst those of all ages.
Wed 15 Pray for the joint Board and Session meeting to agree the church’s budget for this year. Praise the Lord for all those who take seriously their stewardship of their time and talents as well as their money.
Thur 16 Uphold today our Mission Partners, David and Rebecca Morton, and all who work at Nkhoma Hospital, Malawi. Share their concern for the fuel crisis and its effects on the hospital and the whole society.
Fri 17 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” Phillipians 4:6
Sat 18 Intercede for our brother and sister Christians, and their children, who endure hard suffering for their faith, as in Northern Nigeria where people and property face attack.

Tues 21 Shrove Tuesday - originally a day for confession and penitence (as well as pancakes). Lord, we have much to confess and repent of but thank you that we can find forgiveness and new life in you.
Wed 22 Ash Wednesday. Lent begins today - a season for prayer, reflection and self-denial. How should we observe it?
Thur 23 “ I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith” Ephesians 3:16
Fri 24 We pray for those in prison. Please break any bonds of fear and isolation, and support prisoners, their families and friends, prison staff, chaplains and others who care for them with Your love. Heal those wounded by the actions of others. Help us to forgive, to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly together with Christ. (CARE)
Sat 25 Join with TEARFUND in their international ‘One Voice’ Prayer Movement for an end to world poverty.
